Oi,

Como eu digo "ele é amargo" no sentindo de uma má/chata pessoa?

"Ela é muito amarga.", "Eles são muito amargos."

I’m going to give a longer explanation:
You can also use the word embittered as a synonym of bitter.

Word family: embitter (verb)
His life had been embittered by a succession of disappointments.

Embittered (adjective)
She has become very embittered after her husband left her.

Embitterment (noun)
He has been suffering from posttraumatic embitterment disorder (PTED).
Embitterment isn’t good for anyone.

Of course the adjective bitter is much more used in everyday language.

Bitter word family: bitter (adj), bitterness (noun), bitterly (adv)
The same occurs with the noun embitterment and bitterness. The second one is much more common.

When she asked him about what had happened to him, he answered very bitterly giving vent to all his melancholy.
I was bitterly disappointed.
Don’t let bitterness take root in your life.
Underpaid jobs can cause bitterness and resentment.

Ways to say “muito amargo (a)” very, quite, extremely, rather + bitter
Mary has been very bitter since her husband dumped her.
John became quite bitter.
When he died his relatives got relieved, because he was extremely bitter.
She was rather bitter.

1) She is a bitter person. (sometimes an unforgivable, pessimistic and miserable person - rolled in one.)

2) She´s become a bitter person.
She has become a bitter person.

Technically one isn´t born bitter, so the option # 2 would be a good choice of words. Anyway, if you use # 1 nobody is going to sue you. ;)
