Como dizer "andar de trem, ônibus, metrô, etc" em inglês
Dias atrás estava conversando através da rede social com uma amiga nativa de Brunei e quis comentar que nunca havia "andado de avião" e escrevi "I never walked by airplane". Ela não entendeu nada e eu não soube explicar. Mas afinal, como se fala isso?

"Walk" é usado para se dizer "andar à pé".
Andar de trem, ônibus, metrô: ride the train, ride the bus, to ride the subway
We rode the train from Sydney to Perth.

Há alguma gíria em inglês para expressar "andar de trem, ônibus ou metrô? A minha dúvida ocorre porque no Brasil usamos expressões como "baú", "busão" e outras para se referir a ônibus.
