Contexto:

A: Você estava empolgado com o curso e agora parece meio desanimado. Que aconteceu?

B: Sei lá perdi o ânimo.

A: Você estava empolgado com o curso e agora parece meio desanimado. Que aconteceu? [You were so excited about the course, but now you seem to be a bit discouraged about it. What happened?]
B: Sei lá perdi o ânimo. [I don't know. I guess maybe I really am discouraged.]

Could be (in a more colloquial way):
You started out studying English with passion for it, now/then you seem like losing steam! Be a finisher, go for it! [1]
[1] In some situations, you could express it by 'go for it like a pro/like a champ/like a boss!", you can do it!

My choice of words with "now you seem like..." because with "now you have lost" it could be understood as a focus on the problem, not on solving it. This may be instrumental for what comes next, it makes you think and elaborate on, using some motivation words.

The answer of the character: I don't know/dunno. I have lost heart, I might be in a funk or bored! [2]
[2] could be other things, "perhaps it is because I am juggling/handling two jobs."/because I have too much in my plate, or other reasons.
