Como dizer "Antes de sair de casa" em inglês

"Antes de eu sair de casa eu fiz isso".
Qual eh a maneira mais correcta de dizer e qual a diferenca entre as duas ?

Assim ?
Before I leave home I did that

ou assim ?
Before I have left home I did that

Sorry but the two sentencies are incorrect.

Sugestões:

Before leaving home I did that.
I did that before leaving home.

Ou

I did that before I left.
I had done that when I left.

or

Before I left home I did that.

Note: Don't forget! Always that you're writing a setence where you need to put a verb after the word "before" (rs rs), this one will be in gerund form as my example above. I killed two birds with one stone, I guess! (rsrs)

Acredito que, neste caso, como disse o Breckenfeld, tanto "before leaving home" quanto "before you leave home" seriam aceitáveis.
