APRESENTAÇÃO PESSOAL EM INGLÊS
Hello,
Não seria "closed case"? Or, it doesn't matter.
Thanks in advance!

Quando você diz:
_Case closed! Significa que você não quer mais falar no assunto .
Quando você fala :
_It doesn't matter. Significa que tudo que foi dito até então não importa mais.
Pelo menos eu entendo dessa forma.

Case closed = The case is closed. O pessoal de língua inglesa assim entende e assim devemos dizer/escrever.felipeh6 escreveu:Não seria "closed case"? Or, it doesn't matter.

Quando eu escrevi "it doesn't matter" eu não estava me referindo ao assunto deste tópico(assunto encerrado), eu estava me referindo se importava ou não escrever "closed case" ou "case closed" pela questão da posição do adjetivo.
Thanks anyway!

Eu tinha achado a pergunta estranha mesmo... Mas, de qualquer forma, o Márcio foi mais esperto, entendeu o seu questionamento e já respondeu.felipeh6 escreveu: Hello Rakell,

First of all, I think what you may meant is: "both are fair enough", i.e. Both are acceptable or reasonable.
Morever, there are some differences in meaning of:
1) It doesn't matter (something that HAPPENED is not important);
2) never-mind (is defined as something you say when you no longer want people to pay attention to whatever you previously said or asked).
3) Don't care (some OPINION or WILL are not take into account by someone, "I have no interest in or feelings about X" or "It won't make me change my opinion");
4) I Don't mind (some EVENT/FACT/SOMETHING AROUND is not considered, "I have no objections to X" or "Don't mind me - I'm just sorting out some files here".
HEADS UP: "I don't care", however, can also be used to express indifference and to indicate that the outcome of a situation has no significance for you. This may sometimes attribute a negative connotation to the message using this expression, whereas—as far as I know—"I don't mind" does not bear a negative connotation.
Stay tuned guys!
Take care.
