It is important to mention that in Portuguese we usually say "Vou cortar o cabelo hoje" as if we were going to do it ourselves (take the scissors and cut the hair).
In English the right way to say this is "I'll have my hair cut", once it is going to be cut by someone else - the hairdresser.
