Hi Thomas,

Please, which one above sounds better or is more used?

Thanks in advance!

Felipe:

she lives to hell and gone
(Due to the word "hell", this phrase is less than courteous but not vulgar. It would be used mainly by men in informal contexts.)

she lives out in the tules
("Tules" are reeds [juncos], often found in warm climates along edges of lakes and rivers. It is informal English. I don't know if younger generations know and use it.)

she lives in the boondocks (bondoks)
("Bondok" is a Filipino word meaning "mountain", but "bondoks" or "boondocks" is used in English to mean "in the country. The term is obviously military, and probably from World War II. I don't know if younger generations know and use it.)

she lives in the middle of nowhere
(This is commonly used by many people and is possibly the most common of the four.)
