Como dizer "caminhão, carreta, jamanta" em inglês

POsso chamar estes veículos "caminhão, carreta, jamanta" de " truck"? OU preciso ser bem específica? Se estiver só com a frente dizer " truck tractor e se estiver com a parte de tras separada dizer " semi-trailer"? E para os grandões outro nome? Ou só posso dizer truck qdo as duas partes estiverem juntas ou tem outro nome dependendo do tamanho? Jesus... Que confuso. Kkkkkk

"Truck" is said to mention them in general. A semi-trailer is a trailer without a front axle. In the United States, the term is also used to refer to the combination of a truck and a semi-trailer, a tractor-trailer. (Wikipedia).

That is "...without a front axle" (sem o eixo na frente, um caminhão em o eixo não vai da parte debaixo da cabina até lá nas últimas rodas, por baixo da carroceria).
A semi (short for semi-trailer) or 'rig' is often mentioned as the combination of the tractor (where is the cabin) and the trailer.
But sometimes they mention trailer meaning the combination as well (prefferablly when you see the combination not just the tractor).

Then comes the subgroups, a semi/rig could be a "flatbed" truck - carreta com carroceria aberta, a refrigerated trailer, etc.
