Como dizer "Cinquentinha" em inglês

1 31 415
A moto, motoneta, ciclomotor... Eu tenho a definição:
Moped - motoneta com velocidade mínima de 25 km/h e máxima de 45 km/h, com motor não maior que 50 cc.

Seria esse o nome da "moto cinquentinha" (Moped) em inglês?

That´s right, moped will do. Sometimes people use ''scooter'', the main difference being in the engine power, and the speed. Not to mention the legal implications.

Basically, moped would be "motorciclo/ciclomotor" in English, and scooter ''uma lambretinha". No more. Today, the definition of a scooter seems like being the fact of having a platform to the rider to place his feet.

So, these would be a mopeds.

And this a scooter, sorry for the Mulholland thing! But then, the guy comes out with just some scratches... Didn´t hurt much!

Here, it says that there are some "ciclomotores cinquentinhas", but there are "ciclomotores" that aren´t (if the engine capacity is more than 50 cc). Makes a whale of a sense, huh? ;)
