Aproveitando este tópico, eu me lembrei do filme Curtindo a vida adoidado, cujo nome é uma versão e não uma tradução de Ferris Bueller's Day Off, como acontece na maioria dos títulos de filme.
The movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off, to my thinking could have been renamed "living up to the fullest (or "to the full" but 'fullest' seems more emphatic).".
Cf. Como dizer "Curtir a vida pra valer" em inglês
Curiously the title of the film in Brazilian Portuguese focus on the mischief itself "Curtindo a Vida Adoidado" and in Portugal
It targeted the act of playing truant (and 'getting away with it' - said no one ever - só que não - the challenges and worries got in the way...) with their "O Rei dos Gazeteiros" (The King of Truancy - should we reverse-translate it into English).
Ironically, someone commented "a good movie to watch when you are skipping work!
