Pensei na opção "whose smell is it?" Pensei
Também em "who is smelling like that?"

One possible way is the one you guessed, we usually don´t ask who is 'actively using their sense of smell', we ask about somebody´s B.O., or any other weird smell.
There are plenty of situations, and causes and saying it aloud can be embarassing and bully, on the other hand there´s a 'smell harassment' law in Japan (if memory serves me well, I read about it elsewhere).
So, people that "harass others" with smell (B.O. For instance) will have to see a doctor or find something to mitigate the problem.

Ha! And in another context:
Not 100% sure, but I think "guess who is wearing this perfume/...who wears this fragrance" would do, in a guessing game.

To people thinking of others/in their recollections, they could use the "I miss her/his smell" etc.

Let´s wait for further comments by advanced learners or English-speaking people.

"Who's the smelly one/guy?" ou "Who's the stinky one/guy?".

Yes, in a specific way.
In general "I think who is smelling like this?" would do. And when we don´t know exactly where the smell is coming from.

Waiting here for further comments, though.
