Como dizer "dedicação exclusiva" em inglês

JooD 1

Perhaps you want to mean the aspect of not being legal to take up another job while you are into teaching (only as a side-job, being a tutor, etc).

Another standpoint would be that (real) teaching is not a part-time job, It’s a full-time commitment to students and the job (fueled by commitment, passion, and love.). And it also means some extra-hour work 'on the side' (with preparation, staying current with the educational trends, etc., sometimes making it difficult to achieve work-life balance.

In the university this seems like taking an expression for it in the job title, "a full-time professor", which seems like a merging of both concepts.

[I devote myself exclusively to my studies.]
Sou professor em regime de dedicação exclusiva. [I devote myself exclusively to teaching.]

That's it!
