UaU! esse nosso "o tal" não deve existir em inglês.

Vitor, aí seria a outra opção que eu ofereci:

Bem, existe, mas se expressa do jeito inglês, com várias alternativas:

the one
the famous/infamous
the so-called
etc.

Sorry guys, my reply was almost off-topic right now, it wasn´t in the initial sense.
As you can see I read in haste and thought it was "esse é o tal!/esse é o cara!". In fact, it would be another can of worms altogether.

Could be: you are his father/dad (informal here) so, act accordingly (as expected).
