Having a senior moment is a phrase that is in vogue. People say it when they know that they have something on the tip of their tongue, but can't quite rember what it was that they wanted to say. Saying someone is having a senior moment is a gentle way of expressing forgetfulness.donay mendonça escreveu:Olá Pessoal,

What I´ve started saying is that "I'm having a continuous memory lapse."
Others speak of a blown fuse.
Some seniors insist they've already forgotten more than you'll ever know.

*Adding:
to get senile = ficar velho
→Example:
I'm starting to think Ishihara is already getting senile...99% of the stuff he says doesn't make much sense...I have no sympathy for any Tokyo-resident who voted this idiot in.
