One way to mean that is "livre e desimpedido" as in

Yet in Another context it could be expressed by "without a care in the world".
On the web there's this writing - Another Poem by Isabella, in it she goes:
I miss those joys of childhood
The days filled with little to no worries
Running around on the playground
...
miss feeling like I was on top of the world [1]
[1] feeling fine, happy, exuberant, wonderful, etc.
To a kid "livre e solto" would be something like that, it could be different of an adult...
