Como dizer "Eu vejo mil milhas voando" em inglês

Olá!

Preciso saber como posso dizer algo como "Eu vejo mil milhas voando" ou algo do tipo, mas que represente que estou andando muito rápido. Creio que até em português isso fique estranho, assim precisaria de alguma expressão pra dizer que os quilômetros, milhas, estão passando rapidamente por mim e estou andando muito rápido.

At a "breakneck speed" would be a good imagery for it "
As we rattle across the moonscape towards the lost Kingdom of Mustang, the jeep's rear window falls out.

We screech to a halt and begin weaving back up the track in reverse at a similar breakneck speed until we find the mislaid window. Miraculously, it is in one piece - which is more than can be said for my sanity.

Another imagery is things "flashing by in a blur..."
I think the tunnel vision happens because the faster you go the farther ahead you have to look to focus on anything before it zips by in a blur. That blur gets bigger and further ahead as you increase speed creating the tunnel effect.

The car they were riding in somewhere 140 (mph), the scenery flashing by in a blur, David wondering what would happen if they should crash at this speed.
