With the scratching (forfait) of Old Gipsy (a horse), it was an easy win to the Ghost Blade colt.
Forfait counts as an absence, but then it means something like a "veterinary forfait" (injuries, for example). So, it will have a penalty (monetary penalty) for scratching the horse for the race.
Speaking of "scratching", I think it is the favored word for English-speaking countries, since "forfait" is a borrowing from French, less used then.
Anyway, with horse racing it could be possible, so I am not being definite on that one.
