Como dizer "Foi sim" em inglês

Estou na dúvida em como dizer "Foi sim" em inglês.
O contexto é esse:
-Temos que admitir, aquilo foi engraçado! = But we have to admit… was funny!
- Não foi nada engraçado! = Shut up!It was not funny!
- NÃO, FOI SIM! = ???
Como digo "Não, foi sim" em inglês? Acho que "No, it was yes!" está errado.
O contexto é esse:

- Não foi nada engraçado! = Shut up!It was not funny!
- NÃO, FOI SIM! = ???
Como digo "Não, foi sim" em inglês? Acho que "No, it was yes!" está errado.
