Em Português:
Guarda-chuva – de uso mais masculino, mais rústico, ger. de cor preta, usado mais para se proteger da chuva.
Sombrinha – Guarda-chuva feminino; menor, mais leve, colorido, usado mais para se proteger do sol.
Existe alguma diferenciação em inglês, ou é tudo “umbrella”?
