Como dizer "Há quanto tempo a festa começou?" em inglês

Olá,uma pessoa que está atrasada para uma festa naturalmente diria ´´Oh Gosh I´m late´´ :shock:
Ou quando ela chegasse na festa poderia falar ´´How long did I lose?´´

Mas como eu poderia falar ´´Há quanto tempo a festa começou?´´ Esse ´´Há´´ que está me complicando..

Você pode tanto dizer
-What time did the party start? ou (past simple)
How long ago has the party started? (present perfect)
ou se de repente você estiver conversando com alguém
e quiser saber há quanto tempo essa pessoa está na festa....
How long have you been here for? (present perfect)

Not unless someone comes up and says I made a mistake, you can (always) drop the for when using how-clauses, BUT not when using wh-clauses.

"How long ago has the party started?" is incorrect because it uses the present perfect tense. It describes an action that started in the past and is still happening now, in the present. But the party is not "starting" now--it started some time in the past, and now it the party is "taking place."

Oops, I should clarify one thing. You CAN say: "The party has started." It means the same thing as "The party started," but it implies that the party is still taking place. However, you cannot say "How long ago has the party started" because the phrase "How long ago" calls for a specific time in the past... it is the same as asking "When did the party start?"
