I'd like to know how I can say "índio" in English, in a non offensive way.
I looked it up on the Longman dictionary and found out that "Indian" may be offensive:
- Longman Dictionary
Then, I remembered that I could use the word "native". Nonetheless, the Longman dictionary also says that this word might be offensive:
- Longman dictionary
So, how am I supposed to call an "índio" in English in a way that nobody would be offended?
Thank you in advance!
