Be out of the question
to be an event that cannot possibly happen:
A trip to New Zealand is out of the question this year.
There's no question of agreeing to the demands.

Could be: "Unthinkable"
Já ouvi "not a single chance" algumas vezes em seriados.
This is off limits, not an option, no way, don't even think, forget it

Also: "nem morto/a"
Not in a million of years.
Over my dead body.
Interesting thing indeed; this movie was translated in Portugal as follow "nem morta!" and in Brazil "Nem por cima do meu cadáver."
In the latter translation of the flick title (that of Brazil) , the translation should be as translated as it is; given the plot.
Most of the time, though, one would say "só por cima do meu cadáver", but in the "impossibility" sense.

It could be used. There´s a little secret that I am, right now, going to blab.
Whe comes to English, their prefference is to use a word of expression that don´t seem or come from Latin. In other words, whenever possible they don´t use words that "get straightway" plain to us. So, when one has to choose between a "plain" Latin word (read Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, etc) and a word that is English, they use the latter.
So, "cogito" as in "cogito ergo sum" falls in this category. Hence this meager 1,640 hits.
People with more sophisticated (well-rounded) education would understand, though.

Só uma observação.
Não misture would e can. Use um dos dois...
Could anyone help me? / Can anyone help me? / Would anyone help me?
God bless you all

Um exemplo:
Taking the little girl to the TIF hospital where the detainees were treated was out of cogitation.
No entanto, sugiro ficar com as sugestões dos colegas acima, visto que, devido ao baixo número de resultados, essa é uma expressão provavelmente ou muito formal/poética, ou arcaica.
