Obrigado

That music, I can't stand it. (essa música não me desce).
I can't stand gossip. (fofoca não me desce).
I can't buy that comment in the meeting. That got me sick. (slangy) can't buy - é uma forma de "não descer"/outra é o "get sick".

I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else
Gets me frustrated. (Avril Lavigne, song 'Complicated')
(get's me frustrated sometimes could be one kind of "não me desce".)

And the "jack-of-all-trades", in my opinion:
“What João said in the meeting yesterday didn’t sit right with me at all.”
(no caso aqui no sentido de que "there was something"/"fishy about it, something out of place...") O proverbial 'caroço no angu'...

Speaking of "angu":
“I have/had serious misgivings about what João said in the meeting yesterday, I think he is advancing some agenda of his own.

“this doesn’t sit right with me” was the translation that immediately came to my mind.
Eg - “What João said in the meeting yesterday didn’t sit right with me at all.”

There is also the "John's argument/premises at the meeting didn't fully convince me." (in more formal business parlance, maybe).
