Nesse caso, a pessoa está insatisfeita com a atual situação e precisa pedir apoio para um amigo. A pessoa quer dizer que está passando por uma situação difícil e sente desgosto pelo seu modo de viver.

Using "miserable" in a sentence, mostly along with ''life" in it, also do the trick.
My supervisor is making my life miserable. ("meu supervisor está me deixando de saco cheio dessa vida" - não implica que seu supervisor vai gostar mais de você nem um pouquinho quando ler isso!).
my parents make my life miserable (meus pais estão me deixando de saco cheio dessa vida)
My parents constantly pick on me and punish me. The other day I slammed the door and they took away my laptop, phone and TV for a month.

If toxic 'friends' are making your life miserable, you can break friendship with them. Give them a chance, but ultimately explain that it was their choice, not yours (if they choose keep nagging you).
