Oi Lucas!
It's necessary to learn how to deal with this matter.
It's necessary to know how to deal with people.
Cheers!

INGLÊS PARA VIAGENS
Em contextos negativos no sentido de "aceitar", "superar" (aprender a lidar) podemos dizer "to come to terms with (something)".
Exemplo:
"My mom needs to come to terms with the fact that I had become an adult."
Exemplo:
"My mom needs to come to terms with the fact that I had become an adult."
Alguns exemplos abaixo:
- Sometimes, It`s very hard to deal with Josh at school, because he doesnt like to study.
- Dealing with peace agrrements between Palestine and Israel It`s a difficult task for any government nowadays;
- The human feelings are so complicated to deal with.
I hope that examples help you a bit to fix that expression in your mind! So, Cheers!!

1. Handle
He handled the situation very well. [Ele lidou com a situação muito bem.]
I knew I had handled the matter badly.
Leave it to me. I can handle it. [Deixa comigo. Eu consigo lidar com isto.]
Some customers are quite difficult to handle.
2. Cope with:
Local authorities have to cope with the problems of homelessness.
It is a seminar on coping with stress in the workplace.
Bons estudos!
