- Eeeh! ...Mais ou menos, digamos, “mais pra mais do que pra menos”. Meu pai gostou, mas a minha mãe nem tanto. Pra ela ele ficou devendo.

We say something similar, like this

More or less -- let's say, but more to the more than more to the less of it...

Or, in more abbreviated fashion: more to more than to less of it...

We give instructions similarly:

You have to go right and left. First you go more to the right, and then more to the left.

;) My pick:
"it´s hard to say...but I would say that, in general, he made an impression. At least my dad liked him/his ways. On the other hand, it takes a while/more than that to make an impression on my mommy/mother.

It´s hard to say, when it comes to my folk´s head, but I would say that my dad was most impressed than mommy.
