Português: mal resolvido
Inglês: unresolved

Definitions:
  • Unresolved: not dealt with or agreed on in a satisfactory way. [Macmillan]
  • If a problem or difficulty is unresolved, no satisfactory solution has been found to it." [Collins Dictionary]

Exemplos traduzidos:
  • Unresolved problems often get worse. [Problemas mal resolvidos muitas vezes ficam piores.]
  • People who get stuck with unresolved problems often experience stress, health issues, drinking problems, depression and relationship breakdown.
  1. Unresolved problems often get worse after marriage.
  2. This is a big mistake, as unresolved problems often worsen over time, and the need for a replacement only becomes more dire as the winter approaches.
Bons estudos.

Related expression, "mal-feito/mal elaborado"...etc, in some contexts:

There´s also the term "half-assed" used to refer to something that is being sloppy, innefectual or partially completed.

This is the most half assed lazy game I've ever played...I can only play with 2 of my friends, except in 1 mission. The game isn't social at all and there's no true player interaction.

It´s slangy, though!
