Black suitcase – where a team is paid to lose.
Black suitcase is the name given to the cash incentive provided to a sports team to lose a match. It's officially illegal but no club has ever been brought to book for it.

I only recall this concept used in connection with boxing.
To take a fall. to take a dive = to lose on purpose and for pay
If used in relation to soccer/football. I am sure that everyone would understand.
