Há uma mistura de costumes Malhação de Judas/Festas Juninas:
The Judas burning:
People, mostly children climb the pau de sebo, on top of which is a puppet that represents Judas, who may take shape of a not very popular local personality.
The goal is to overthrow it and receive prizes, and get the money and sweets that are stuck in the puppet.
Pau-de-sebo – Greased pole (A wooden pole covered with grease)
The Judas burning:
