Hi, EE! How should I say in English: "A minha bebê tem 9 meses e mama bastante!" I don't remember how to say it in English."
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!
My baby is nine months old and still breastfeeds a lot.
My baby is nine months old and still wants to be breastfed a lot.
I have the feeling I am missing at least one other way to say this. The academic word is "to suckle", but I can't imagine a mother talking about her child who is "suckling". It simple sounds too formal, too schoalrly.

Hello, Thomas.Thanks for the help!
Thomas, se quiséssemos encurtar a frase, não poderíamos dizer: "My 9-year-old baby still breastfeeds a lot"?
Suckle
Another way to say that is "my baby wants to nurse all the time/my baby wants to breastfeed all the time." You can find it ..."all the time" (with the apostrophe).
And also "my baby will be nursing about every 2 hours" or "My baby is 9 months old and is nursing/breastfeeding like a champ".
