Na minha opinião, você deve explicar o que é o ''perigo de gol'' em inglês. Não me recordo de um equivalente comum para esta situação.

"Perigo de gol": when a referee unfairly calls a foul to prevent a gol from being scored.

''David Hamilton, who played basketball at Pierce College, will feel vibrations of the whistle rather than hear it when a referee calls a foul.''
''He says the quality of the opposing team determines when in the match is the best time to commit the foul to prevent a goal being scored.
