Misto-quete feito com presunto e mussarela ou queijo e pão francês ou forma,depois vai na chapa ou naquela forma de pão que eu não sei o nome que esquenta no fogão.E não vamos esquecer o misto-frio que é só presunto, queijo e pão e nada a mais.

I would say you refer to a hot ham-cheese sandwich (perhaps known as hot roll sandwich). Or yet a hot mix sandwich.


There are the Bauru the one with more contents.

Paulo, I don't know if "Hot mix" is usual, look this link when we search for "hot mix" and " Grilled ham and cheese sandwich" in the Google image.

Sounds about right to me. But for "misto frio", I would just say "ham and cheese sandwich". In English, sandwiches are cold/uncooked unless otherwise mentioned.

Lucas the guy there talked about hot "mist", this is really Portuguese in English. Maybe his "mist" stands for "misturado".
The ham and cheese, to my thinking is the simplest one a toast of sorts, the one with rolls , along with tomatoes, onions, hams, onions, cheese and others would be the hot mix sandwich. In Portuguese both could be known as "misto quente"
depending on the Brazilian region.
