In the times of the emperor.
Example:
In March 2020, TV Globo premieres Mariana Ximenes as Louise the Countess of Barral, a modern woman in "In the times of the Emperor", the new six o'clock soap opera.

I think we don't need any translation, it's simple.

Well, perhaps it´s a bit of oversimplification since there were two emperors in Brazil, one abdicated and went to Portugal, leaving the throne to his child - later, the Emperor Dom Pedro II.
The soap takes place at the time of Dom Pedro II reign; so, in the Emperor´s times but which one? Just kidding...let´s leave the technicalities aside.
