I learn that in Australia they call it a moke (a nag or inferior horse/a bad horse). In British English a moke stands for donkey, but it can be derogatory when referring to people (segments of the population).

In the UK they also use it to mean "uma pessoa burra/besta" don´t know if it´s equivalent to the Portuguese "desatenta/sem iniciativa, lenta, etc...". One thing is certain, it´s derogatory in both languages in this way.

Now back to the southern hemisphere, "pangaré" can be "nag" and nag could be someone that keeps asking things or complaining to you. So, to a nagging person, should we say "stop being such a nag" and translate it into "pare de ser pangaré" instead of "pare de ser chato!". Ha ha ha. Just kidding around.

By the way, in Portuguese "pangaré" can mean also "cavalo baio" not having to do with being a bad or inferior horse, just a breed.
