Olá t@ta!
Me parece mais comum o uso de "and" juntamente com o verbo "have":
I had bread and jam for dinner last night and for breakfast this morning.
I'd already had bread and jam but I was still hungry.
Enquanto o "bread with jam" é utilizado nas outras situações:
What do you like eating most? Bread with jam.
Why do you think bread with jam is less good than bread alone?
Até mais!
