Hello everyone
how could a I use these expressions in english ?
take a look at the examples :

well, I am aware I can use some normal words to express the same idea in these folowing sentences
for example :

ex 1) Peter pretends to be a good father

but I would like to know idiomatic exrpressions to get my point across clearer

best wishes

Hi there! There's a very common expression in english which I have seen quite often - get one's self out of....

There's no way you can get yourself out of this Mario!

There's no way I can get myself out of this Beth! I'm so desperate.

As Alex realized what he had done, he began thinking about how to get himself ouf of such tough sittuation
Take care,

Olá Henrique Arcoverde,

Minhas sugestões:

1)Passar a imagem:Seem to be
Ex:Peter seems to be a good family man.(Peter passa a imagem de ser um bom pai de familia.)

2)Livrar a cara:Get sb out of trouble
Ex:Get her daughter out of trouble.(Livrar a cara da filha.)

Boa sorte!
thank you ALL for your help ;)

Pretend = fingir

If Donay understood your Portuguese correctly, which I assume he did, then his suggestion of seems to be would be the correct one.

Seems to be = parece
