In comparison with last week, there was a small fall in coffee prices.
Ou
There was a small fall in coffee prices in comparison with last week.
Ou
A bag of coffee had a small drop in price in comparison with last week.

Coffee prices tumbled to four-year lows of $1.16 per pound on Aug. 1. Then, the Brazilian government stepped in to buy surplus coffee from growers and helped push prices back to $1.23 per pound. But the Brazilians won’t be able to keep their finger in the dike for long. Fundamentals remain bearish for prices, with global surpluses projected for both 2012–2013 and 2013–2014. Coffee prices are headed lower, barring a major weather event.

To tumble: to fall rapidly in value or amount
The price of coffee is still tumbling.

Coffee prices took a tumble in comparison with last week.

Rakell, em vez de "in comparison with" eu tinha pensado em "compared to last week".

O "compared to "enfatiza as semelhanças.

Coffee prices are headed lower, barring a major weather event.

My preference is "compared to". The word "compare" already contains a "com", really my main reason for avoiding "with." So we say things like "You should compare apples to apples." But both usages are certainly common.

If you want to avoid it altogether, you can use "Measured against last week..." or "Relative to last week..." etc.

For me "a small fall" sounds a bit awkward. "A small drop" or "decrease" sounds better. But again, personal opinion.
