If someone skips classes (or) he/she is likely to miss some subject or topic covered in the class, and that may (or may not) come up on some test. Some important piece of information, etc.

There´s another way to see that, though. When someone skips classes, he/she may be "developing a work ethic that will serve you for the rest of your life." So, it´s not just about going or not going to that college and attending that class.
Plus, generally speaking, when you pay you go.
