Olá pessoal!
Às vezes é bom tentar dirimir uma dúvida com os experts.

"Plot a route to the stadium to root for your team, who we hope does not lose in a rout." (merriam-webster.com)
A tradução de 'does not lose in a rout' acima seria 'não perca de goleada'?

Desde já, obrigado.

"OKC Thunder lose in a rout to the Pacers – player grades. After being competitive in every match this season the OKC Thunder suffered their worst loss of the..."

Bons estudos.

In american sports, it's common to use the term "blow out/blowout".

The Patriots were blown out by the Chiefs.
The Chiefs beat the Patriots in a blowout.

It refers to a large gap in the score of the game, when a team wins by a significant amount of points, but i'm not sure if they use this term for football/soccer.
