"Nightmare" é outra maneira de se dizer "pesadelo" em inglês e "have a nightmare" equivale a "ter pesadelo".
- I hardly ever have nightmares. [Eu quase nunca tenho pesadelos.]

Hoje em dia se vê muito "ghost" como verbo em contextos de relacionamentos. Um exemplo: He ghosted her after only two dates. (Ele desapareceu da vida dela depois de só dois encontros.)
Interesting. I never heard the word "ghost" used in this way. I would understand it in the sentence though. I think it is slang that won't be around for long. It's always good to avoid slang but to understand it. This is just my opinion. Sometimes non- natives use slang that isn't used any more or is short-lived. One other comment about something above. In England they say Maths but here in the US, we never use it in the plural. We always say math.
