back shift → turno da tarde (late afternoon to midnight)
night shift → turno da noite

Also:

Segundo turno --> Run-off ou Runoff

"Nicolas Sarkozy and François Hollande expected to go through to runoff from initial ballot of 10 candidates"

I've never heard of "back shift". We must remember that jargon/slang changes from country to country, industry to industry, and company to company.

swing shift - second shift - afternoon shift
This shift begins around 4:00 PM and ends around midnight. (The last time I worked swing, I started at 3:45 PM and ended at 12:15 AM.) My dad worked graveyard (third shift - night shift) for years, and he would start at about 11:00 PM and get off at around 7:00 AM.
