I would go with "academic proofreading", sometimes it could be specified as in the case: "thesis proofreading/thesis correction".
Generally, the concept here is not only about spell checking, punctuation and all that jazz, it is about how your dissertation/writing is presented as well, how it is relevant, about clearness, logic, consistency and how impressive your arguments are (plus other details - including spelling, punctuation and grammar).
