----> to save (your, his, her, their, my) own skin

I am very disappointed that you all seem to think that most Americans are casual about the use of profanities. Most people DON'T use them. They are viewed by most Americans as VERY offensive. Remember, this is a blog where young people come to learn English. Please keep it clean.
Dear Mary, Please forgive us... We were just kidding. We know it's not good to swear in any language! We were of course talking about American movies, songs and we didn't say that all people from U.S. are not polite or really use bad words all the times! You know, all languages have its bad words. And even though I'm young (I'm just seventeen) I do not swear or even use slang words. Hope you accept my apologies! I really admire your mother tongue.

Thank you for your kind words. I hope that others will refrain from using profanities on the blog forum in the future, too.
Have a wonderful day.
