"Saudade" is a difficult word to translate to English, so, I suggest according to the context:

Saudade não se sente, se mata.

One doesn't feel nostalgic (or reminiscent); deals with it, and overcomes it.

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/nostalgic
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/reminiscent

But I think that it sounds better like this:

One shouldn't feel nostalgic or reminiscent; should deal with it, and overcome it.

I think the answer scope would be narrowed (and better answered) if we knew if the ''saudade" you meant is about (involves) homesickness, grief, missing something or somebody, loneliness or perhaps loss (of a girlfriend/boyfriend/hubby/wife, by being dumped or through divorce, she/he is abroad to study etc). Not saying that you are in one of such situations, just that your question was a bit vague, at least to my thinking.

Depending on context here's my suggestion:

Longing are not to be felt but fulfilled.

Bye!

Breckie, longing is or are?

Depending on context here's my suggestion:

Longing is not to be felt but fulfilled.

Bye!

Lembro-me que em espanhol se diz "matar nostalgia" e pensei em dizer : "nostalgia not to be felt but quenched "

cheers !
