Michaelis diz:
abordar
a.bor.dar
vt 1 Náut to board: a) attack. b) run foul of. 2 to approach, accost. 3 to go aboard. 4 Náut to land. 5 to touch. 6 to broach, approach, tackle (a problem, subject). abordar um assunto to broach a subject. abordar um navio inimigo to lay a ship aboard.

tks in advance

Flávia,

Tenho visto "be approached by".

Veja um contexto original da BBC:

- Two children approached by man in West Sussex.

Two reports of schoolchildren being approached by a motorist in West Sussex are being investigated by police.

On Thursday morning, a 12-year-old boy was approached in Test Road, Sompting.

On Friday, a man of similar description in a small black car asked a 14-year-old girl waiting for a bus in Cokeham Lane, Sompting, if she wanted a lift.

Police said the incident took place at about 08:10 BST. The man was described as white, bald, of large build, and wearing a blue T-shirt and jeans.

The incidents follow three in Brighton and Hove when children were approached by a man in a car, although police said they did not at this stage believe them to be linked.
