Simon, algumas possibilidades:

"What message would you give to people looking to get into theater?"

"Theater is no fun and games".
"Theater is work, not play".
"Theater is work, not fun".
"Theater is hard work and little / no play".
"Theater is no child's play".

O uso de "play" cria um trocadilho interessante, já que "play" é utilizado no sentido de "brincadeira", mas também pode significar "peça de teatro".

Theater is no child's play. No pun intended.
Theater: a Hard work, not Fun.

-What is the message that you would like to pass on to those that are into theater?

-Theater is hard work, there is more to it than glamour. However the glamourous nature of the art, it takes a lot of effort, training, rehearsal, and learning before you are a capable professional. Remember that your efforts pay off at the end, it´s not the fame, the result that counts, but your effort, as everything in life.

If the paragraph ended at the end of the boldened part, it would do. The rest was just for emphasis.
