Adriano, neste último contexto, ''to skip'' quer dizer ''desconsiderar''? Será que pode ser usado em todo contexto para ''desconsiderar'' ou dependendo poderia ficar estranho? Mais, trata-se de coloquialismo?

I understand skip, but I think it is a poor choice of vocabulary. I doubt seriously that a newspaper or magazine article would use it.
