When it's a wrong conclusion you can say:
"He/She/They jumped to (I'd assume a wrong) conclusion"
When it's just a final thought, there's the act of "draw (-ew, -ing) my/his/her/their conclusions".

Could also be expressed (by) the following ways:
Don't judge prematurely
Don't make a hasty assessment about...
Don't jump to a conclusion about...
Don't jump to conclusions about...
Jump to the wrong conclusions about...
Don´t assume, ask. Making assumptions is common in relationships, but it is also what leads to conflict. I read somewhere else.

Can´t judge a book by the cover - it´s another way to advise somebody not to be carried away be external appearances and make hasty judgments (sometimes acting out of bias).
In a sentence: the candidate did not look very intelligent, but you can't judge a book by its cover. Source: theidioms.com
