Como dizer "trancar o pé" em inglês
Hey! Eu vou ter que trancar o pé -> eu vou ter que discordar, teimar, recusar algo etc. Por exemplo: "Ela trancou o pé e disse que não ia ao casamento do ex."
Eu vi na série Friends a expressão "Put my foot down": "We won't spend all the money on the wedding. I have to put my foot down. The answer is no." Seria o equivalente à trancar o pé? Há outras formas de dizer isso?
Obrigada!

Yes, if you mean she refused very firmly to do that, or accept to do that. Or that shed demanded not to go.
If I am not mistaken about what you mean, then it´s that => bater o pé, insistir, teimar, não obedecer ou se deixar convencer (per Aulete´s definition)
