Oi gente, eu ganhei uma garrafa em que está escrito "to travel is to live". Quem fez isso, teve a intenção de dizer: "Viajar é viver". Eu estou procurando material com a explicação sobre a tradução correta dessa frase. A princípio eu penso que seria um gerúndio no início: Travelling... Mas mesmo assim fica esquisito falar: "Travelling is to live" não acham? Eu penso que o verbo em um contexto conjugado é diferente no inglês do infinitivo. Vocês tem material sobre isso? E como eu posso dizer "Viajar é viver" em inglês?
Em construções como estas, o segredo é manter a forma do primeiro verbo no segundo.
